Writing an archive is metered, so it needs a free account. Reading one never does — anyone you send an archive to can open it with no account, no card and no software of ours.

Token Audit and Entropy Attestation are delivered as engagements rather than subscriptions — the work is scoped to a specific key-issuing system or generator, and the size of that varies by orders of magnitude. Everything else on this page, including the patent-pending licensed engines, has a self-serve monthly price printed above. On-prem, multi-tenant and field-of-use terms are negotiated on top of the listed price rather than replacing it.

- How much does AT-1 cost?
- There is a free tier with the complete compressor and decoder and a one-time 100 GB-compressed allowance, no card required. Pro is $29 a month. Team is usage-based, billed per TB under management on graduated launch pricing. Enterprise is $99 a month plus usage, with volume rates negotiated. Add-on modules are listed individually on this page, from $24 to $2,000 a month.
- Do I need an account to use the free tier?
- To write archives, yes. Creating one is metered even on the free tier, so it needs a free account and an API key via `at1 login`. No card is required and the allowance does not expire. To read archives, no — decoding never requires an account, which matters because the people you send archives to should not have to sign up for anything to open what you sent them.
- Is decoding ever charged?
- No. Decoding is free for everyone, forever, and needs no account — including for people you send archives to who have never heard of us. Only compressing beyond the free allowance is metered. An archive format you have to pay to read is a liability, not an archive.
- Why are some products priced 'contact us'?
- Because they are patent-pending engines licensed as compiled software that runs on your own machine, and the deployment scope, term and field of use genuinely differ every time. We list which products those are rather than leaving them off the page. Everything with a fixed price has that price printed here.
- What does usage-based Team pricing actually mean?
- You are billed on the data you hold under management rather than per seat, on a graduated rate that falls as volume rises. The intent is that you pay a slice of what we save you — if the compression does not help your data, the bill reflects that.
- Do I need a separate subscription for each module?
- Modules are additive to a platform plan and each is billed separately, so you only pay for the ones you switch on. If you want several, talk to us — bundling is exactly the conversation where an annual term makes sense.
